We can go out on a high note or we need to make the commitment to continue. With our numbers everybody will need to pitch in so that not just a few are doing all the work.
It was also decided that being our 25th. We would have 25 door prizes featuring small fiber related articles, such as pins, ornaments, needles, hooks, wristlets, earrings

For those of you who were unable to join us on the 9th. You missed a really informative seminar on the characteristics, prep, and uses of worsted and woolen spun yarns. We touched on what worsted yarn looks and feels like and how to spin it. We then went through the same process for woolen yarn. We were able to try out some combs to see what combed fiber looks like when spun short or long draft. All of this was presented in such a way that even if you were a beginning spinner, you would be able to follow and the information would help you get to the next level.
Thank-You Karen Richens for doing such a wonderful job.

Next meeting  February 13 2014 starting at 10:00 am
