Warkworth Spinners and Weavers Meeting Minutes

Business:

Proposed road trip discussed again
to visit local small shops. Gas and
lunch to be paid for driver by guild. Lee will send out dates to choose from.
·
Lee suggested the guild make a
$75.00 donation in the name of Marcia Louise Hopkins to the hospital in
Colburg. A memorial knitted blanket of squares is also being made by members
who wished to make a square, wool and pattern were provided. These squares are
due at the May meeting.

The challenge for this year was
reviewed by Lee and questions were answered.
·
The Belleville Weaver’s and Spinners
Sale was announced and will be held at the Belleville Wellness Centre on
Oct.24-26.
·
Spin in time is fast approaching October
7th. 2014 St Paul’s United Church Campbellford.So it is time to
start thinking about door prize donations. Christine Muir is to take over
contacting the vendors for Nancy Casserly. The guild thanks Nancy for her work
in the past years in this respect.
